Interactive navigation for the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library
Objective: to deploy the most advanced system for interactive navigation in one of the most modern libraries in the world.
In 2007, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to establish the Presidential Library. The new library had to be the one of the most modern electronic libraries in the world.
The library got a lot of technological innovations: interactive exhibition and electronic reading rooms, a multimedia conferencing system, etc.
For visitors convenience, inside the renovated building of the Synod, was installed the interactive way-finding system Directorix™.
With Directorix™ you can quickly navigate inside the building, browse a photo gallery of the most interesting places in the library.
May 27, 2009, in the Library Day, the president of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, inaugurated a new Presidential Library on behalf of Boris Yeltsin, praising its technical equipment and application of innovative technologies.

In Presidential Library were installed interactive navigators in different form factors: 65 inches high-resolution screens, 24 inches screen-size floor mounted touch-screen kiosks and wall-mounted kiosks with a screen size of 21 inches.
